You may know this brand from their sought after fleece but they offer so much more. The eponymous brand helmed by New York native and designer Sandy Liang, features smock dresses, fun colors, and bold patterns tinged with 90s nostalgia, see her rhinestone butterfly halter top and her recently launched jewelry collection, pastel pink resin hearts inspired by Polly Pocket. Founded in 2013 by Aurora James, the sustainable shoe and accessories brand Brother Vellies is a New York brand as much as it is an international brand. In light of Covid-19 and temporary store closings they’re offering a subscription service called Something Special offering some of their favorite cozy homewares. SVNR
Founded in Brooklyn in 2018 by Christina Tung, the ethos of this accessories brand is ethics and aesthetics. Expect unique and colorful pieces you won’t find anywhere else crafted from reused and natural materials like agate, quartz, sea glass and shells. The brand also offers a range of airy slip dresses in varying shades and shell embellished net bags to pair with your unique earrings and barrettes. The Break
Founded by Hannah Richtman, this shop which sells vintage and thrift clothing, homewares, and jewelry, opened in Greenpoint in 2016. The shop offers carefully curated wares, you can shop online and in their Instagram stories. Luxury concept store t.a.newyork, founded by Telsha Anderson, carried a curated range of up and coming, cool brands like New York-based PRISCAVera, Ottolinger, ASHYA, and fashion favorites like Ellery and William Okpo. t.a.newyork features a mix of bold patterns and colors, unique silhouettes, strappy dresses, and asymmetrical hems but there are also minimal pieces. Founded by Kai Avent-deLeon, Sincerely Tommy is more than a store, it’s a destination, offering an in house coffee bar, S,T Coffee, and place for community and events along with a curated selection of brands and pieces.
