Loafers
Beat up or brand new, there’s no denying that the loafer is the shoe of the season. Flat to the ground or with a block heel, these classic loafers are giving us major ’70s vibes. Dust off your much-loved loafers and wear them with or without socks. Add an old piece of chain to the top to get a decorated look or paint out the upper vamp if you want to try something geometric.
Espadrilles

Your shower shoes have been promoted. Take out your favourite flip flops and put them front and centre. Try wearing them with a simple skirt or trousers to channel the minimalist trend.

Straight from your childhood wardrobe, Mary Janes have made a mega comeback. Flat or heeled, the strap makes them look sweet and feel secure. Even if you don’t have a pair that quite fits right now, look for old ballet flats and give them a DIY Mary Jane makeover. A small piece of ribbon or elastic put in place with a safety pin and decorative brooch will give you the right vibe.
Platforms
We’re getting Spice Girls flashbacks as we see platforms hit high notes again. More comfortable than high heels, you know you were hanging on to your flatforms for a reason.
