St. Louis is rich in art, culture, food, and so much more. If one were to drive through the area, they would notice the abundance of historical buildings, each telling a story of the history of the area and the people who reside there. Preserving this history is as important as developing the city and making it a welcoming place for St. Louisans and tourists alike. The City Foundry STL is a $217 million redevelopment project, one of the largest historical redevelopments in downtown St. Louis history, located in Midtown St. Louis on Foundry Way. Purchased by Century Electric Company almost 100 years ago and used as a manufacturing hub for the city, the building today is transformed into a new “live, work, play” community, packed with shops, entertainment venues, and St. Louis’ first food hall, providing delights from local restaurants. Check out all the details of St. Louis’ City Foundry STL Food Hall, shops, and entertainment.

St. Louis’ CITY FOUNDRY STL Food Hall, Shops & Entertainment
City Foundry STL offers a curated mix of restaurants, entertainment spaces, shops, office spaces, and more in the heart of St. Louis’ Midtown neighborhood. Transformed from the century-old Federal-Mogul manufacturing foundry and establishing a guideline that anything larger than three inches should remain in the building, developers ensure that guests of City Foundry STL pay homage to the city’s industrial roots and history while creating something brand new within familiar walls.
City Foundry Food Hall
The City Foundry Food Hall is the anchor of the development, and the first portion of the complex to open to the general public. The Food Hall is not your typical food courts eatery one may be accustomed to when visiting their local mall. Instead, it offers a unique experience with a collection of gourmet delights, turning the food truck experience into a brick and mortar site.
The Food Hall not only offers a curated mix of award-winning dishes but also a unique atmosphere inside this remodeled abandoned century old electric building, preserving its original steel rail trestles, beams, machines, and more. Enjoy your meal inside this architectural rich space, or find a perfect spot on a nice day with the vast amount of outdoor seating.
