I have to admit, I have been loving the fact that smocked skirts are back in style! I first stumbled upon this one while shopping on Walmart’s site and loved the tiers, overall style and price point

It comes in three colors and can be worn a bunch of ways. I find this style to be flattering and comfortable, which is a win win. Also, a lot of Walmart’s items are offered via 2-day shipping, so everything arrived rather quick, including this white pocket tee that is a new favorite and only $5!

Matt and I decided to pack a picnic and go for a walk to look at the tulips in the park that were in bloom. Some of them were almost as tall as Logan and he had a blast looking at all the colors of flowers and listening to a waterfall that was in the park as well.

Now that the weather is getting nicer, we try and break up the day with little adventures here are there. We will drive by the animals at a local farm and roll down the windows and listen to them (Logan LOVES farm animals and all the noises they make), take walks in the neighborhood, pack a picnic, feed the ducks at a local pond, etc. I still try and get dressed as if it is a big outing because it makes me feel better overall and separate one day from another. I have found a bunch of cute spring items at Walmart that have been trendy and affordable…like these white overalls!
