Thankfully, gone are the days when you need to slip into a cocktail dress in order to enjoy a Manhattan. Now you’ll look perfect in any establishment in a smart pair of pants and a jersey top with subtle ruching, or a business-forward power dress that commands the room.
Below, our ideas on dressing from desk to dinner without overthinking it.
The Drop Dead Gorgeous Dress

Let’s start with the big bang: the dress that will get you that funding, launch a million partnerships, and definitely prevent you from ever getting to inbox zero again in this decade. The Dina dress is a one-piece workhorse that is as elegant as it is useful. Did we mention it has pockets? It has pockets!
The Jersey Combo, Part 1

It’s not a dress, even though it kind of looks like one. This slinky, soft, and stretchy combo of the Fey top and the Soho skirt is as comfy as it is professional, and the color, a bright regent blue, is as much of a pleasant surprise in the office as it is at an after-work-drinks-thing (or even on a date).

If you liked Jersey Combo, Part 1, you will LOVE our second mix-and-match set. Throw on a pair of Ginger pumps and our Wide Strap belt, and you’ll look as put together as any woman in a little black dress.

Finally, we have to go with an updated, upgraded, and so much more than a suit, suit.
